One Button Correction

Once a transaction has been posted it cannot be deleted or edited. Gravity's design includes a complete transactional audit trail.

Often a posted transaction needs to be corrected. Gravity provides a one button correction function providing an easy way to correct posted transactions while maintaining an audit trail.

When opening a posted transaction, the command bar displays a “correct” option.

Use the correction button to create a posted reversing transaction and display a copy of the original transaction in an unposted status.

The copied transaction can be completely edited or even deleted. The resulting correction transactions are labeled:

Apply to numbers will all be set to the apply to of the transaction labeled original.
