Plaid Profiles

frequently, organizations will assign distinct login credentials for accessing the same financial institution for instance, in a family office, both john and judy may have individual accounts with american express, each requiring their own unique login it is important to note that plaid's default setting only allows for one login per profile in order to address the scenario where multiple logins are required for the same institution, gravity has incorporated profiles into plaid if plaid is currently being utilized, gravity will automatically generate the initial plaid profile using the name of the first user who logs in to establish additional profiles, please adhere to the instructions provided below create a new profile user on the plaid api screen select create user in plaid we recommend using names that will identify the individual users for each profile once the user is created, select the user under plaid details and then select manage accounts you will see the user name in the plaid screen in the account grid you will see the profiles identified with each account when you refresh an account be sure to use the credentials associated with that profile
