Inventory Bin Locations
Inventory bin locations enable an organization to effectively monitor inventory at individual warehouse locations. At the bin level, only the quantity of inventory on hand and that on shippers is recorded, excluding cost and other attributes.
Process
- In the Entity Confiuration turn on Bin Level tracking for an entity.
- Create Bin Location Records identifing the warehouse locations
- Identify Default Recieving and Shipping Bins
- On Inventory Location records, identify the Default Recieivng and Shipping Bins
Note: If Bim tracking is enabled, bins must be identifed each time an item transaction is recorded.
