Allocation Groups

allocation groups are used when entering voucher lines to automatically created line items based on predefined percentages allocation groups will predefine the entity, gl account and dimension values used in the allocation general name enter a name for the allocation group entity code select the entity to be used in the allocation line account number select the gl account to be used in the allocation line description select a description for the allocation line the description can be overwritten when the allocation is created percentage enter the allocation percentage for the line the total of the percentages on all lines must equal 100% dimension 1/2/3 select a dimensions for the allocation line the dimensions can be overwritten when the allocation is created
